Hapoel USA
Hapoel USA was founded with the premise of using basketball as a tool for life. These tools provide opportunities for physical education and sport for the masses. The participants also assisted in the establishment of Israel as well as helping organizations such as the “Haganah” to bring Jews back to their home country and their origins. Since 1927, Hapoel helped advance sports activities around the world. After the establishment of Israel, Hapoel played an important role in encouraging and organizing sports activities in underdeveloped African countries
To this day, Hapoel is recognized as a representation to those who wish to use sport in order to breed excellence, work ethic and ethics. Hapoel USA stands for empowerment of our players, through physical, personal and spiritual growth. Using a rubber ball as our entry, we are then able to inspire, motivate and bring the best out of our players, program participants and coaches/educators.
“I had an incredible time visiting your program this summer and highly recommend that any athlete looking to elevate his game and his own personal goals gets involved. Daniel and the team of skilled coaches are using the skills learned as professional basketball players into their players”
“Daniel is enthusiastic and creative. His ability to relate to the players he is coaching, while at the same time demanding their best effort, is an invaluable asset to his teaching of the game. Coaching with Daniel gave me someone reliable with pro experience to share with our student athletes every day at practice.”
“Daniel was a big part of helping us build our success at YU, and I learned a great deal from his expertise that he attained as a professional basketball player.”
“It was a pleasure to work with Daniel. I learned from a lot and loved to see Daniel’s attitude and how you works with children and change their world views about BASKETBALL 🏀. In addition I liked to see how he pays attention to every kid in the camp and really tries to let them understand that they work out for themselves and not for the coaches.
“I remember when Daniel met me for the first time in his basketball program just as another coach kicked me from his “select” group. He nudged me to control the pace of the game and challenged me. I then decided to take the feedback and just get better.
Love you”

Spirituality Before Physicality
Inspired by a personal journey of Teshuva, the concept of spirituality before physicality is our approach which states that our personal growth, learning and development is primary and is the focus point of every workout, every meeting and experience.
ואהבת לרעך כמוך
A movement where we embrace that there is a golden rule that states we must love our fellow as we love our self. By Living and playing according to this rule, our players unlock selfless actions, are more able to work as a team, to constantly review the good, the bad and ultimately make the right choice.
